Teru no Uta or Song of the Earth by Teshima Aoi is one of my favorite Japanese songs. I like Japanese songs (especially the folk songs), because they’re literature… they’re written in such a way that they’re always telling a story, sharing a poem or a very poignant metaphor.

I will not rob this song of its potential to explain itself (aka, I will not talk about it any further, because I will not do it justice)—heck, it doesn’t even have to explain itself, just listen, and you will feel what the song means and understand what I’m trying to convey.

Enjoy the music guys. Tender night for all. :)

Cheers and thank God for music!
